The exhibition at the S fart M/S Museum marks the 90th anniversary of the Danebrog, the Royal Dane's ship, in 2022. The exhibition showcases models of royal ships, the 1970s sailor suits of the Crown Prince of Denmark and Prince Joachim and the Queen of Denmark painting on board – a watercolor painting by the Queen of Denmark. Created in collaboration with the Royal Family and the Royal Collection, the exhibition is open from 9 February to 21 August 2022.

Since 1932, the royal ship Dannebrog has served as a floating "castle" for the royal family, as the official and private residence of the royal family on summer cruises in Denmark or on official visits overseas.

At the opening ceremony, the museum's curator, Ula Tofte, and the chairman of the board, Erik stergaard, delivered speeches, followed by the Queen's announcement of the opening of the exhibition. After the presentation, exhibition director Sarah Giersing and museum inspector Benjamin Asmussen accompanied the Queen on a tour of the exhibition.

The exhibition is a journey through nine decades with the Royal Ship and a meeting with three monarchs: Christian 10. and Frederick 9. and the current Queen. The exhibition tells the story of what the ship meant to the royal family, the life on board the ship for the crew and the royal family, and the personal encounters of the Danes with the royal ship. The ship was named after Queen Alexander and the first order was given on May 26, 1932. The ship was built at the Copenhagen Naval Shipyard from 1931 to 1932, replacing the Royal Ship Dannebrog of 1879.
