On February 8, the official website of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine released the list of commendations for the fourth session of chinese medicine masters and the second national famous chinese medicine selection. It is proposed to award Ding Ying and 30 other people the title of Master of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and 102 people such as Ding Lixian are proposed to be awarded the title of National Famous Chinese Medicine, and the publicity period is from February 8, 2022 to February 14, 2022.
In the public list, five people from Guangdong were selected: Lin Yi was selected into the list of candidates to be commended by the fourth batch of Chinese medicine masters, and Lu Zhiping, Zhang Zhongde, Chen Baotian and Luo Songping (in the order of the public list) were selected into the list of candidates for the second national famous Chinese medicine to be commended.
The master of traditional Chinese medicine is an outstanding representative of traditional Chinese medicine workers, and the title of "master of traditional Chinese medicine" is the highest honor in the traditional Chinese medicine industry. In order to promote the inheritance and innovation of academic ideas in traditional Chinese medicine, the relevant departments have carried out the selection and commendation of "Chinese medicine masters" since 2009, and 30 people have been selected each session, and three sessions have been selected so far. At present, there are three masters of traditional Chinese medicine in Guangdong, namely Deng Tietao, Xuan Guowei and Zhou Daihan.
In 2017, the mainland carried out the first national famous Chinese medicine selection, and a total of 100 were selected in the first session, of which Guangdong was selected as four, namely Liu Maocai, Qiu Jianxing, Ouyang Huiqing and Lin Yi.
