Recently, in Change.org a petition was launched by a player demanding that EA be open to refunds to players who purchased Battlefield 2042.
According to the petition page, EA's Battlefield 2042 is a mockery of every player who has spent $70 on a game for a false ad, costing millions of dollars to consumers and upsetting thousands of players around the world. Assuming the petition receives more than 50,000 signatures, one of the best class-action lawyers in the United States is willing to file a lawsuit against EA.
As of the IT House's release, the petition has successfully exceeded 50,000 signatures and will continue to move towards the goal of 75,000.
Whistleblower Tom Henderson previously said that some plug-in developers issued a notice saying that because "Battlefield 2042" has too many bugs that affect the performance of the plug-in, coupled with a large number of users, the game looks yellow, so they decided to stop the plug-in update of the game, while "suggesting" lifetime subscribers to transfer their services to Call of Duty.
