According to SteamCharts, Battlefield 2042 recently fell below 1,000 online players while steaming.
Its data shows that at the lowest point, only 979 people are online at the same time, while SteamDB shows a slightly higher number of 1021 people. In addition, the average number of online players in the last 30 days of Battlefield 2042, which has been on sale for nearly 5 months, is only 1931, which is far lower than the 11585 figure in the same period of the previous game Battlefield 5.
The next update to Battlefield 2042 is scheduled for early April, which will add voice chat to the clan. It's surprising that a multiplayer FPS game didn't have this feature at the time of its launch.
