4 donkey friends were trapped in the mountains late at night, and more than 80 police and civilians worked together for 12 hours to successfully rescue

According to the News of Hunan Public Security on February 9, in the early morning of February 6, the Chaling County Public Security Bureau received a distress call from Xie Moudan, a donkey friend in Hetang District, Zhuzhou City, saying that he and 3 donkey friends were lost in Taihexian and were trapped in the mountains.

After receiving the police, the Chaling County Public Security Bureau immediately organized the police force to carry out search and rescue work, and notified the county and township governments, emergency management bureaus, fire rescue brigades and other departments to carry out search and rescue at the same time. Because Taihe Xiandi spans the boundaries of Chaling County and Youxian County, the mountains are high and the forests are deep, and the mobile phone signal is intermittent, the rescue police cannot get in touch with the trapped donkey friends, so they have to carry out dragnet searches of the mountains. At about 2 a.m., the first rescue team composed of 8 police officers and 10 fire rescue personnel assembled at the foot of the mountain on the south side of Taihe Peak and prepared to climb the mountain.

It was late at night, black lights were blind, coupled with the severe cold weather, the mountain temperature was as low as 0 °C, the high-altitude mountain forest was covered by ice and snow rime, and the search site was an undeveloped deep mountain forest, which was very difficult to search and rescue. The rescue team members did not delay for a moment and went up the hill with flashlights.

Groping, shouting, searching... The rescue team members climbed over one mountain and two mountains, and walked through the dark and dense forest, at this time the sky began to rain again, and the search and rescue situation became more and more severe...

Time passed minute by minute, and at 8 o'clock in the morning, the second rescue team composed of villagers went up the mountain... At 9 o'clock, the third rescue team composed of emergency departments also went up the mountain... So far, the total number of people involved in the search and rescue has reached more than 80 people, but the missing donkey friends still have no news.

At about 12:20 noon, more than 10 hours have passed since the first rescue team members went up the mountain, the team members' physical strength has been seriously overdrawn, the light rain has condensed into a thin layer of ice on the team members' clothes, the team members are struggling to travel on the icy mountain road, and there is a risk of slipping off the cliff if they are not careful, but everyone still did not give up and resolutely chose to insist on search and rescue.

Finally, the first rescuers found the trapped 4 missing donkey friends by a stream in the mountains. The police immediately replenished the physical strength of the 4 people, and after a short rest, led the donkey friends to move down the mountain.

At 2 p.m., the four donkey friends were successfully transferred to safety, and the rescue work that lasted 12 hours was declared successful.
