In the process of construction of the Qujiang Campus of Xi'an University of Technology, an ancient tomb of the Tang Dynasty was found, and the owner of the tomb was Li Wei, the daughter of Emperor Tang Of the Tang Dynasty, and experts gave a restoration map based on the remains.
I. Li Qian's character biography
Li Shuxian ( Li ) was the daughter of Emperor Tang and the fifth generation descendant of Li Yuan , the emperor of Tang Dynasty , who died in 736 at the age of 25.
Her husband was Xuan de Lang and Hou Mochen, a scholar of Naohiro Bunkan, who was a civilian official, equivalent to a university professor today.
Li Kuang died at home at the age of 25, and Emperor Tang held a grand funeral for her, and many years later Li Qi reappeared in front of people's eyes.
Second, the corpse is corrupt, and the phoenix crown is still there
From 2001 to 2003, the Qujiang Branch of Xi'an University of Technology was under construction, and the workers inadvertently discovered the tomb during the construction process, so they immediately reported the situation to the local cultural relics department.
Since ancient tombs have been found many times in Xi'an, experts seem to be ready at all times. They soon arrived here to investigate, and finally identified the owner of the tomb through an epitaph.
The epitaph is one of the most valuable items in Li Wei's tomb, and another more precious cultural relic is the phoenix crown on Li Qian's head.
When experts found Li's coffin, the coffin itself had been damaged, and Li's bones had also decayed. However, the crown on her head is still relatively complete, and the crown is very exquisite, which makes the experts feel particularly excited.
The headdress is still on Li Qian's head, and because there are already traces of damage to a small part, experts use plaster to remove it, thus ensuring the integrity of the phoenix crown.
This phoenix crown contains almost all the decorative materials that could be used in the Tang Dynasty, such as turquoise, amber, pearls, rubies, agate, etc., which can be described as everything.
In addition, under the gold ornaments, there are the blue feathers of the emerald bird, which looks very gorgeous, and the degree of color brilliance has surprised the experts.
Later, experts from China and Germany worked together to repair the princess's phoenix crown, making the originally gorgeous phoenix crown look more exquisite.
3. The epitaph of Li Qian's tomb
In addition to the phoenix crown, the most eye-catching is Li Qian's epitaph, because it can uncover the mystery of Li Qian's death. Why did Li Qian, who was a princess, die at the age of 25?
Only to see her epitaph read: "There is a son in swaddling, without the sorrow of blowing thorns, relatives feel the coffin, and the final pain is different."
It can be inferred that Li Li was likely to die of dystocia, and at that time, due to limited medical conditions, many small diseases and small pains can also take a person's life. The biggest difficulty faced by women is to have children, and if they are not careful, they may die twice.
Even Li Qian, who is a princess, is difficult to escape this disaster, let alone an ordinary woman in an ordinary family?
Fourth, Li Qian's appearance is restored
Due to the high degree of development of modern science and technology, relevant experts have used scientific and technological means to restore Li Qian's appearance. The project is led by Professor Zhou Mingquan of the School of Information Science and Technology of Beijing Normal University, who collaborates with Northwest University.
Using a CT scan of computed tomography, the information obtained from the scan of Li's skull was uploaded to the computer, and then the three-dimensional skull of the princess was reconstructed through its self-developed software.
Then through the basis of modern human head data, the relationship between skull and appearance is deduced by regression statistics, and finally li Tuo's appearance is restored.
Through the use of modern technology to restore the photos, it can be seen that although she is not a particularly outstanding beauty, her temperament does not live up to the two words of Shuxian.
