Recently, the first special museum of archaeology in the mainland, the Shaanxi Archaeological Museum, was completed, and has been put into trial operation for the society, and the restored Tang Dynasty princess Li Qian [chuí] crown ornaments are exhibited in the museum.
After the restoration, Li Qianguan ornament, using more than ten kinds of materials including gold, silver, pearl, turquoise, etc., using casting, pounding, gilding and other processes, is the collection of Jewelry and craftsmanship of the Tang Dynasty, tang Dynasty princess phoenix crown poured out all the precious jewelry of the Tang Dynasty, such as turquoise, amber, pearls, rubies, shells, agate, etc., the number of gemstones alone is as many as 370.
The li crown ornament was excavated in November 2001, and the owner of the tomb, Li Qian, is the fifth-generation granddaughter of Tang Gaozu. In the process of archaeological excavation and cleaning, archaeologists found that the crown ornament of the owner of the tomb had been damaged into small utensils of different materials, and decided to adopt the method of overall packaging, which took more than 1 year to complete the restoration work.
