On February 8, according to CNMO, Aojie Technology said that the company's 5G baseband communication chip has been successfully tape-out, and is promoting mass production testing, and it is expected to achieve mass production this year.

According to public information, Aojie Technology was established in December 2017 as a high-tech company engaged in chip design, mainly developing baseband chips. The company was listed on the Star Market in January 2022.

CNMO noted that as early as the previous prospectus, Aojie Technology revealed that the first 5G baseband chip based on a number of self-developed technologies in 2020 has been successfully tape-out. At present, the basic functional tests of baseband communication and supporting RF chips have been completed, and the performance is basically in line with expectations. According to the published data, the 5G baseband chip of Aojie Technology supports NSA/SA, the downstream supports 4*4 MIMO carrier aggregation, the upstream supports 2*2 MIMO carrier aggregation, the maximum downlink rate is 4.6Gbps, and the maximum uplink rate is 2.3Gbps. According to media analysis, from the index point of view, the chip is better than the Zhanrui V510, and similar to the HiSilicon Baron 5000 and MediaTek T750.
