GeForce MX550 is NVIDIA's upcoming new discrete graphics card for thin and light platforms, its TU117 display core design based on the 12nm process, support for PCIe 4.0, with 1024 CUDA units, with 2GB of GDDR6 video memory.

It should be noted that the current Intel and AMD core graphics have made great progress in performance, taking the Ryzen 9 5900HS mobile processor, its built-in Vega 8 graphics card scored 4968 points in the G3D Mark project, which is similar to the GeForce MX550. Therefore, in the author's opinion, if NVIDIA's discrete graphics card wants to gain a foothold on the thin and light platform, it needs to squeeze more toothpaste in terms of performance.
