Querying existing test data, last year's low-power entry-level MX450 scored 3724 points in this basic test project. In contrast, the performance improvement of the MX550 is still significant (about 34.6%).

According to the previous news, GeForce MX550 is NVIDIA's new discrete graphics card for thin and light platforms, based on the 12nm process, Turing architecture, using TU117 display core design, supporting PCIe 4.0, with 1024 CUDA units, and with 2GB capacity GDDR6 video memory.

Editor's comments: GeForce MX550 is bound to be greatly challenged this year, in the past two years Intel and AMD have greatly improved the performance of the core display, such as AMD's latest release of the Ryzen 6000 series mobile processor Rembrandt series, using RDNA 2 new architecture core display, the performance is greatly improved than the old GCN architecture Ofga core display. Perhaps the mainstream thin and light version in 2022 will be dominated by nuclear display models.
