On February 6, the eighth episode of the second season of Zhejiang Satellite TV's "Ten Thousand Miles To Ride Alone" invited Shan Jixiang, Zhou Yun and others to take the audience to explore the secrets of Sanxingdui cultural relics.

In this episode, Shan Jixiang and others went deep into the No. 8 pit cabin of the Sanxingdui Archaeological Greenhouse, which was also the first time that the cultural relics of no. 8 pit were announced through the public media. On January 31, it was reported that a bronze statue of a tiger's head and dragon body was found in the No. 8 pit of Sanxingdui, which was in the Year of the Tiger, and this wave of newcomers was really suitable.

This bronze divine beast had double horns on its head, and the body of the tabby beast, half dragon and half tiger, was quite strange in shape, unprecedented. Zhao Hao of the Peking University Museum previously introduced that this bronze is quite peculiar, and there have been dragon-shaped cultural relics unearthed in Sanxingdui before, but such a volume and such a shape have never been seen.

The bronze statue of the tiger-headed dragon god has its hind limbs welded to another bronze bracket and holds a bladed object in its mouth and a cinnabar-filled bird at the front. There is also a black pigment on the eyes of the divine beast, which is quite vivid as a "dot".

In addition to exploring the site of Pit No. 8, this issue of "Ten Thousand Miles of Single Riding" also introduced the archaeological history of Sanxingdui and the current daily life of scientific and technological archaeologists and archaeologists, in the program we can see the rare scientific expedition site and various "black technology" in the program, and the Shu embroidered "Sun God Bird" returning from space has also reappeared after many years.
