IT House February 6 news, one of India's most popular brands Jio is most famous for its Indian mobile phone network and affordable subsidized equipment. News said the company is about to launch a laptop JioBook, which was exposed in a recent hardware certification document.
Unfortunately, the document did not reveal any device specifications, only that the notebook was ARM-based, not X86, and was certified to run the ARM version of Windows 10 systems.
IT House understands that the document also mentions "Emdoor Digital Technology Co., Ltd.", the OEM of the laptop, a Shenzhen-based company specializing in the production of such hardware. Since the model number of the device is "QL218_V2.2_JIO_11.6_20220113_v2", there are a large number of "218 series" devices on the Emdoor Digital Technologies website. However, all of these use Intel or AMD's X86 CPUs instead of ARM chips, and their designs look very different.
Either way, the JioBook should be more affordable.
