1, not limited by time, just go
If you take the train or fly home, the most perfect schedule is of course today's holiday, and you can just catch tonight's train or plane after packing up your things. However, some units are uncertain about the holiday time, and you are worried about whether you can leave smoothly after buying the ticket. There are also some units that have a fixed holiday time, but they can't buy a ticket for the latest date, which means that although it is a holiday, you can't go home immediately, you can only wait. Seeing that relatives and friends are busy preparing for the New Year at home, and I have to wait for a few more days, the mood is not to mention how depressed.
And driving by yourself is completely without these unpleasantness, if the distance is hundreds of kilometers, then the company announced that tomorrow will start the holiday, I may drive directly after work on the highway all the way back, to get home just in time for dinner, which feels so cool.
2. It is convenient and comfortable to drive by yourself
If you've ever taken a train during the Spring Festival, it's definitely an unforgettable experience. When I was in college, I returned to school after the New Year, and the hard seat I bought was not yet the starting station. At that time, it took a lot of hard work to finally enter the station and check the ticket, and came to the platform. When the train arrived, no one got off the train, all of them got on the train. The hard-seat carriage was already full, and there was no one to go up, and later the platform staff pushed and forced people in the back. At that time, I bought a seat, but there was no room in the carriage, the feet could not be stopped, they were stepping on other people's feet, it was difficult to move, not to mention the middle of the carriage to find a seat. As for going to the toilet or something, it is a complete luxury, not to mention that you can't go to the toilet at all, even if you stand next to the toilet, you can't do it, because the toilet is crowded with people.
It may not be so crowded on the train these days, but it's still very busy to ride the train. In particular, you have a lot of luggage, carrying a large bag is very inconvenient, just the distance from the railway station square to the ticket gate can exhaust many people. And it is much more convenient to drive yourself, the luggage is stuffed in the trunk, the fuel tank is filled, the thermos cup is filled with boiling water, the car is directly gone, the scenery is watched while walking along the way, sleepy to drink hot water, tired into the service area to stretch the waist, the closer to home, the closer to home, the less tired, how comfortable it feels.
3, in some places public transportation is not as convenient as cars
If the place of work is in the city, and the home is also in the city, then it is OK to go home by train, high-speed rail or plane in the New Year, without reversing. However, some places are relatively remote, and it is very inconvenient to take both trains and planes.
For example, my classmates in a construction unit, repair high-speed rail, the project department in the barren mountains and wild mountains, the Spring Festival home to let the project department to send to the town, and then take a small minibus to the county seat, and then take the urban and rural bus to the urban railway station, due to the low frequency of minibuses and buses, so often have to wait for a long time to have a car, very troublesome. 4, home with the car is convenient
Nowadays, it is indeed very inconvenient to walk relatives without a car in the New Year, especially in rural areas, there are no buses, taxis are not available, usually one or two people can go out and ride an electric car, but the Spring Festival is cold, and it is the whole family, and it will certainly be very convenient to have a car.
5, no place to park
Some people have just joined the work, rent a house, there is no fixed parking space, usually parking is safe with the encounter, where there is a place to park. After all, it must be used every day to commute, and it is not stopped for a long time, and the impact is not large. However, the Spring Festival home time is long, if you do not drive, it is really difficult to find a relatively safe place to park, it is better to drive home directly.
In general, as long as the distance is not too far, driving home for the New Year by yourself is definitely more convenient and comfortable than taking the train and high-speed rail. Although the plane is faster and more comfortable, some cities do not have direct flights between them, so they can only sit in the nearby cities and then reverse, which is actually a special trouble. Flying between cities with direct flights is the best option.
