February 5 news, according to Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman reported that Apple is planning to launch the third-generation iPhone SE and the new iPad Air at the new product event held in March. Specifically, Apple may choose to hold this new product launch on Tuesday, March 8.
According to previous revelations, the new iPhone SE will be similar to the appearance of the 2020 iPhone SE (based on the iPhone 8), but it will use a faster A-series chip, possibly A15, and support for 5G technology. It is also expected to include increased camera capabilities and a certain range of battery life.
The new iPad Air will also feature updated A-series chips and support for 5G network connectivity, but it's not expected to have major design changes. On top of that, at least one new Mac with Apple-designed Silicon chips could launch at the event, with previous rumors suggesting it could be a Mac mini.
The latest news is that iOS 15.4, which supports wearing a mask to unlock the iPhone and adding multiple emojis, may be related to the new device at the March launch, so we can expect to receive the iOS 15.4 update in early March.
Of course, the March conference is still in the form of online, and it may not be until the second half of this year that the previous offline conference form may be resumed. As Gurman said before, Apple will have a series of product updates this fall, including a new iPhone, an updated AirPods Pro, a new Apple Watch Series 8 and Apple Watch SE 2, a newly designed MacBook Air, a new iMac Pro, a Mac Pro and even an AR device, among others.
