"In order to complete the transportation task efficiently, we have conducted several rounds of drills, and the whole process is accurate to the minute." Chen Lili, business director of Prince Edward City Station of the Beijing Bureau of the State Railway Group, introduced that according to the transportation plan of the Beijing Winter Olympics Organizing Committee, the railway department and the bus group have done a good job of docking in advance to achieve public railway intermodal transportation and seamless connection, which saves the waiting time of passengers to the greatest extent.

The Beijing-Zhang high-speed railway, with a maximum operating speed of 350 kilometers per hour, takes only 50 minutes from Prince Edward Station to Qinghe Station according to the Winter Olympics train operation map. During the concentrated period of personnel at the opening and closing ceremonies of the Winter Olympic Games, special trains will be added to ensure transportation.
Inside Qinghe Station, trains from Prince Edward Station stopped at the fixed platform, and Chinese and foreign athletes quickly stepped out of the closed-loop carriages. Since January 21, the Beijing-Zhang high-speed railway Winter Olympic train has opened the racetime transportation service, and the platform of Qinghe Station has set up hard isolation, and the train has delineated closed-loop carriages, and there is no intersection between ordinary passengers and closed-loop personnel entering and leaving the station.
Walk up the platform, go up the stairs to the exit passage, and arrive at the outbound drop-off platform, the whole journey takes only 5 minutes. "At each key station node, we have arranged special personnel to guide athletes from all over the world to leave the station quickly and ensure that they arrive on time." Zhang Tong, deputy director of Qinghe Station, told reporters that the railway department strengthened coordination with bus connections, security departments and other parties, shared the timetable, and each link was closely linked, and strived not to waste 1 minute.
When the athletes came to the Exit Platform of Qinghe Station, the transfer bus was already waiting at the door, and the bus team took the "baton" and sent the athletes to the Bird's Nest on time, completing the tense "relay race" outside the race.
