"The Spring Festival is here, I want to write a vice Spring Festival to thank you!" Just write 'Create a great cause for thousands of years to prosper, show the grand plan and then brilliant, horizontal batch, great development of the grand plan!' Recently, the oncology department of Wuhan Wuchang Hospital appeared this warm and touching scene, 57-year-old calligrapher Mr. Liu (pseudonym) presented the handwritten couplet to all the medical staff of the oncology department, thanking them for not only allowing themselves to get careful treatment, but also eliminating their fear and uneasiness about cancer with patience and love.

According to Mr. Liu, his family lives in Henan and he sought medical treatment at the local hospital for gastrointestinal bleeding three months ago. After recovering, Mr. Liu came to Wuhan to visit relatives, who knew that in mid-December last year, he had symptoms of gastrointestinal bleeding again, and his family immediately sent him to Wuhan Wuchang Hospital for treatment. After electronic colonoscopy and other related examinations, Mr. Liu was diagnosed with colon cancer. After consulting with the departments of gastroenterology, general surgery, and oncology, it was decided that the surgery would first perform radical resection of colon cancer + intestinal adhesion. After the operation, the oncology department will carry out subsequent adjuvant chemotherapy according to Mr. Liu's pathological condition.

At the end of January this year, Yu Xiaohong, director of the Department of Oncology, formulated a treatment plan for Mr. Liu. Before Mr. Liu's chemotherapy, the medical staff carefully taught the precautions of chemotherapy, so that his nervousness was alleviated. Considering that Mr. Liu received chemotherapy for the first time, his body would not be very adaptable, and in addition to routine rounds and education, the medical staff would also use their spare time to provide Mr. Liu with precautions and healthy diet guidance.

After successfully completing the first cycle of chemotherapy, Mr. Liu said: "I watch these children shuttle through the ward every day, their feet are not far from the ground, in fact, they are about the same age as my children, not afraid of pain, not afraid of tired, it is really hard!" Mr. Liu said that in order to express his gratitude, he sent a pair of Spring Leagues to the medical staff. During the Spring Festival, the medical staff pasted Mr. Liu's handwritten Spring League on the door of the department, inspiring them to treat each patient with a more serious and responsible attitude.
