Recently, by chance, I went to the garden of a painter in the suburbs.

Before coming, a friend introduced that his residence was worth seeing, and it was really a taste of classical Chinese gardens. The garden is not large, but there are winding paths, ponds with lotuses, and stone tablets and grass pavilions on the rockeries that rise from the corners of the garden. Continuing to go deep into the garden, a large white goose flapped its wings and rattled, so that we did not dare to stay longer and went straight into the house.

The garden is very interesting, and the interior is empty and bright. The house retains the original steel truss structure, which is about six meters high, and there are large windows on the front and back walls and roof, and the house shines in the daylight. There is no corridor in the functional area, and oil paintings, Chinese paintings, and calligraphy works are placed everywhere, and there are several bookshelves next to the windows, and various versions of Chinese and foreign albums are inserted. It is both an exhibition hall and a studio, and on the left side of the wall is a large desk several meters long, covered with gray felt, which is used to write or splash ink. A group of multi-treasure cabinets in the middle divides the exhibition hall, with the studio on the left and the reception table and chairs on the right. The Dobao Pavilion is decorated with various items collected by the owner, such as wooden spoons, fans, scythes, etc., in harmony with star photos, porcelain, sculptures, etc. Although it is winter, many corners of the room are cultivated with camellias, lemon trees, plantains, kumquats and bamboo, and the various plants that are the result of flowering are vivid and bright.

The Song Dynasty poet Dai Min also liked to build gardens, and he wrote his own construction routine into such a verse: "The small garden wanders on a day when there is nothing to do, and frequently reports that the family will send wine." Cherish the tree does not grind the moon axe, love flowers must build a shelter. Lead some canal water to fill him, and move a firewood door to open the bamboo. Thank you for the sentient double egret, temporarily flying away and flying back. ("Titled Little Garden") He almost attracted water sources to open the firewood door according to local conditions, and also attracted egrets to go and back, which can be consistent with the interests of this southern Anhui painter.

Near the evening, friends came out of the house to hang out, walked to the yard again, and found that in addition to the big white geese they had just met, there were also a few ducks and a peacock in the corner of the garden, which was very leisurely; the wind chimes in the four corners of the pavilion waited for the wind to pass and sent crisp jingle bells, and the purple-red sunset light on the edge of the sky fluttered.

Only then did I notice that the master's bedroom was on the second floor, all of which was large glass. The owner said that because this was originally a factory building, a sloped roof, the architects in order to maintain the flat effect of the second floor room from the inside, in addition to the part of the exhibition hall began to increase layer by layer, this layer of sloped roof plus a grid of window glass, it seems that the main building of this garden is so classical and fashionable. At such a moment, looking back at the sky, the sunset is just in time; turning back to look at the building, all the glass walls are reflected in the beautiful clouds. Such a residence was given the elegant name of "Liuyun Caotang", and the name and the house really complemented each other.

To be a human being should have a fragrant and compassionate heart, to act without any pretense, and to be the most pleasant in the unity of knowledge and action.

In such an artistic space, the first time you meet, the host does not seem to deliberately come to you to talk. After sitting down and slowly having a common topic, the guests and hosts began to chat freely; the friend who came with her was a musician, she returned to the hall from the tea room, Wu blew up the hole, waved the hand dish, and the notes and songs began to flow in this lofty space, and the rocks outside the house, the flowers and plants in the house, the paintings on the walls, the conversations of everyone, everything in front of her was interesting and flexible because of the moisture of the music.

Yes, this musician is suitable for singing and dancing in the artist's hall. Feng Zikai mentioned in "Art and Artists" that art takes personality first and technology second. This music-loving friend and the painter who likes art, their encounter made me feel a kind of charm, to be a person should have a fragrant and compassionate heart, to act without pretense, to know the unity of the most pleasant.

When I came to Liuyun Caotang, I not only appreciated the beauty of the garden, but also experienced the truth of art.
