The Beijing Municipal Health Commission has just released the news that from 0:00 to 24:00 on January 31, there were 2 new locally confirmed cases and 1 case of local asymptomatic infection, with no new suspected cases; 2 new imported confirmed cases and 3 cases of asymptomatic infected people imported from abroad, with no new suspected cases. 5 cases were cured and discharged from hospital.

Indigenous cases of COVID-19

Confirmed case 1: Currently residing in Anzhenli District 3, Anzhen Street, Chaoyang District. On January 24, home isolation was carried out, fever, dry cough and other symptoms appeared on January 27, and on January 30, the nucleic acid test result was positive, and he was transferred to a designated hospital, combined with the results of epidemiological history, clinical manifestations, laboratory tests and imaging tests, and was diagnosed as a confirmed case on January 31, with a clinical classification of ordinary type.

Confirmed case 2: Currently residing in Majialou Village, Yuquanying Street, Fengtai District. Because the households in the same unit were asymptomatic infected, they were transferred to the centralized isolation point on January 24. On January 30, the nucleic acid test result was positive, and he was transferred to a designated hospital, and based on the results of epidemiological history, clinical manifestations, laboratory tests and imaging tests, he was diagnosed as a confirmed case on January 31, and the clinical classification was mild.

Asymptomatic infected person: currently living in Fengtai District Southwest Suburb Cold Storage Backyard No. 140 Hospital, working place for southwest suburban cold storage. On January 20, he was isolated at home, transferred to a centralized isolation point on January 30, and the nucleic acid test result was positive on the same day, and he was transferred to a designated hospital, and was diagnosed as an asymptomatic infected person on January 31 based on the results of comprehensive epidemiological history, clinical manifestations, laboratory tests and imaging tests.

Imported confirmed cases from abroad

Confirmed case 1: Russian nationality, arrived at Beijing Capital Airport from Russia on January 27, after health screening and nucleic acid testing, the customs was sent to the centralized isolation hotel through closed-loop management, reported positive nucleic acid test results on January 30, transferred to designated hospitals on January 31, comprehensive epidemiological history, clinical manifestations, laboratory tests and imaging tests and other results, diagnosed as a confirmed case, clinical classification is mild.

Confirmed case 2: Slovakian nationality, arrived at Beijing Capital Airport from France on January 28, after health screening and nucleic acid testing, the customs was sent to the centralized isolation hotel through closed-loop management, the nucleic acid test result was reported positive on the same day, and transferred to the designated hospital on January 31, comprehensive epidemiological history, clinical manifestations, laboratory tests and imaging tests, etc., diagnosed as a confirmed case, the clinical classification is mild.

Epidemiological investigations have been carried out on the above-mentioned confirmed cases, and control measures have been implemented as required.
