In 1937, at the age of 20, Park Chung-hee graduated from Daegu Normal School and became a primary school teacher in a small town.

2. Launch a coup d'état

After Park Chung-hee received support from the CIA, he used money to bribe and win over a large number of South Korean military officers.
In the early hours of May 16, 1961, Park Chung-hee led more than 200 young officers and an army of 3,500 men across the Ganghan Bridge and within hours took control of Seoul, the capital of South Korea.

On April 1, POSCO was established. Together with Park Jun-tae, 29 veteran South Korean military officers became the leadership of POSCO.
At that time, these 29 veteran officers, who did not even know what the iron blast furnace was, began their grand plan of large-scale steel smelting.
In the 1990s, POSCO's steel production ranked first in the world, providing more than 26 million tons of steel to more than 60 countries every year, becoming one of the world's largest steel companies and one of the top ten consortiums in South Korea.

6. Assassinate Park Chung-hee
