On the eve of the Spring Festival, in order to further implement the deployment requirements of the municipal and district safety production work, maintain the ecological environment safety of the jurisdiction, compact the main responsibility of the hazardous chemicals and hazardous waste and the safe production of hazardous waste and solid waste of each unit, and ensure the safety and stability of the ecological environment in the jurisdiction during the Spring Festival, the Xuanwu Ecological and Environmental Bureau and the Xuanwu Branch of the Public Security Bureau recently carried out a special inspection of the safe production of hazardous chemicals and hazardous waste and solid waste.
Led by the Xuanwu Ecological and Environmental Bureau, a special inspection team was set up, which was jointly organized and implemented together with the Public Security Brigade of the Xuanwu Branch of the Public Security Bureau, focusing on the purchase, storage, use, outflow and generation, storage and transfer of hazardous chemicals in various laboratories such as pharmaceutical research and development enterprises, universities and scientific research institutes in the jurisdiction.
The inspection team conducted a comprehensive inspection of the laboratories, hazardous chemical storage rooms, hazardous waste temporary collection areas and storage places of relevant units, consulted the hazardous chemicals and hazardous waste safety management system and the entry, use and storage ledger, and logged on to the smart hazardous management platform and the Jiangsu Hazardous Waste Life Cycle Monitoring System, and viewed the basic information of the warehouse, the storage information of dangerous chemicals, and the declaration and transfer information of hazardous waste.
The inspection team demanded that all units need to further strengthen the main responsibility for safe production in their daily management, and conscientiously implement the environmental safety management system, measures and requirements for hazardous chemicals and hazardous waste. On the eve of the Spring Festival of the Year of the Tiger, it is particularly necessary to strengthen training and education, improve the awareness of prevention, carry out in-depth self-examination of environmental safety hazards, do a good job of early warning and prevention in advance, timely rectification of problems found, and strive to create a safe, orderly and harmonious environment.
