Win11 TPM affects AMD processors: stuttering problems are frequent

The core research institute reported on January 31 that Microsoft Win11 made AMD's Ryzen™ processor users feel bad, and the recent problem of TPM under Win11 led to some AMD processor users suffering from stuttering, crashing and other issues.

Win11 system requirements for TPM reliable security modules at the beginning of the controversy, but before everyone was dissatisfied because of the TPM is necessary, but now on the AMD platform, TPM modules seem to have other problems, many people have encountered periodic crashes, stuttering, system instability, sound playback crackling and screen mouse stalking and other issues.

Win11 TPM affects AMD processors: stuttering problems are frequent

At present, the culprit is basically locked in the fTPM function of the AMD platform, which allows users to turn on TPM-like functions without a physical TPM module. User testing can confirm that after disabling fTPM, the system will be normal, but there is no TPM under Win11, and some applications and games may not be available, which is also a problem. Combined with the situation of the problem, the root cause may be fTPM and Microsoft's Win system compatibility problems, this also needs AMD and Microsoft to push patches to solve.
