Brand Finance's report is posted on Brandirectory.com website. According to the website, Brand Finance evaluates the strength and value of more than 5,000 global brands each year. In addition to selecting the world's strongest brands, Brand Finance also determines the relative strength of brands by evaluating metrics such as marketing investments, stakeholder equity and business performance.

According to the list released by Brand Finance, Huawei's brand valuation in 2021 is 55.396 billion US dollars, ranking 15th, and the brand valuation in 2022 is 71.233 billion US dollars, ranking 9th.

The Gsmarena website also analyzed that Huawei's smartphone business has been hit hard by U.S. sanctions, but the company has reacted positively, vigorously increasing investment in its domestic technology companies and research and development, and shifting its focus to cloud services.

According to the relevant sanctions announced by the United States in May 2020, any company that supplies semiconductor products containing US technology to Huawei must first obtain an export license from the US government, and the relevant supply ban officially took effect in September of the same year.

Regarding the restrictive measures taken by the United States to suppress Huawei, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian once said that China firmly opposes the United States' deliberate smear and suppression of Chinese enterprises such as Huawei. For some time now, the US side, without any real evidence, has generalized the concept of national security, abused state power, and adopted various restrictive measures against Chinese enterprises such as Huawei, which is a naked hegemonic act. "I would also like to emphasize that the more hysterical the US side's suppression of Chinese companies such as Huawei, the more it proves the success of these companies, and the more it proves the hypocrisy and hegemony of the US side." Historically, successful companies in many other countries have had similar experiences. This disgraceful practice of the US side has been and will continue to be widely opposed and resisted by other countries. Zhao Lijian said.
