Apple has more than 1.8 billion active devices worldwide

Apple CEO Tim Cook said on an earnings call for the first fiscal quarter of 2022 that Apple currently has more than 1.8 billion active devices worldwide, setting a new record.

Apple had 1.5 billion active devices for the same period in 2020 and 1.65 billion in the same period in 2021. Apple's active devices include the iPhone, iPodtouch, iPad, Mac, Apple TV and Apple Watch, and while Cook didn't disclose the number of each, he said last year that Apple has more than 1 billion active iPhones worldwide.
