Needless to say, our ambitions in life will encounter setbacks in society and in life, not once, but many times.
I remember an interesting analogy: in order to prove the strength of unity, the teacher took out a chopstick, and with a little force, he broke it; then he put several chopsticks together and did not use any force.
Suddenly this kind of thing is like chopsticks in a group, and what the two have in common is that they suffer setbacks, but they are not easily broken. Broken chopsticks, like the discouragement of life.
The effect of the sense of abruptness is not to "dull the feeling", but to prevent setbacks from crushing the inner belief.
The book "Don Sen Li" gives the example of a young company employee who is unjustifiably accused by his superiors, two people are treated the same "treatment", one of them quickly forgets the unpleasant things, while the other is tormented by self-blame and dereliction of duty.
The talent of "epiphany" is what the former possesses and the latter lacks.
Speaking of which, I have watched "Blunt Feeling" for the second time, and I will continue to excerpt some sentences from the book in the future to share my reading feelings.
Confucius said: To learn from the past is to be a teacher. I've read some tomes, and when I first read them, I really had a sense of challenge that I was eager to try, and after one time, I shelved them into decorations and didn't dare to read them again.
On the contrary, the thin book like "Dun Sen Li" looks much cuter than those huge guys, and when he is idle, he inadvertently takes it out of the bookshelf, which seems to be the advantage of "little family jasper".
Time flies, the feelings of the past when reading quickly have passed away with the wind, and the feelings when reading again are new, and it can be seen that Confucius's "warm old" is not very appropriate, at least for me, "no reason to warm".
Or, read often and always new.
