The confirmed case in Hangzhou is infected with Aomi Kerong

At 22:00 on January 25, Hangzhou received a report from the Binjiang Park of the Second Hospital of Zhejiang Medical College and found a case of positive screening. Hangzhou City immediately transferred gan Moumou, a person who was positive for initial screening, to a designated hospital in a closed loop and carried out an epidemiological investigation. In the early morning of January 26, the review result was positive, and the imaging diagnosis of the municipal disease expert group was confirmed as a confirmed case of new crown pneumonia.

The case, Gan Moumou, male, an employee of Huierte Catering Equipment Co., Ltd., lives in Yujing Lanwan Community, Yiqiao Town, Xiaoshan District.

Hangzhou immediately carried out nucleic acid testing and sampling and terminal disinfection of relevant places. As of 15:30 on January 26, 553 close contacts and 808 sub-close contacts of the cases had been implemented in centralized isolation and control and nucleic acid sampling. Of the 197 environmental samples, 17 were positive.

In the case of Gan Moumou, the virus was genetically sequenced into the New Coronavirus Aomi Kerong variant (BA.1 evolutionary branch), which was inconsistent with the strains previously monitored in Hangzhou that occurred in Hangzhou or imported outside Hangzhou. This outbreak is not related to 11.25, 12.07 and 1.14 that occurred before Hangzhou. At the same time, after comparing with the new coronavirus sequence in the nationally open database, it was found that the virus sequence and the virus sequence uploaded in a certain country on December 11, 2021 were highly homologous, which pointed out the direction for further tracing the source of the virus.
