On January 24, Honda Europe released updates to the 2022 new generation of sports coffees, Neo Sports Cafe series CB125R, CB300R, CB650R and CB1000R to local multi-country markets.

Among the four 2022 versions of the new generation of sports coffee series models, the models with relatively large changes in configuration are the upgraded 2022' CB300R lightweight sports street cars. At present, the current 2021 CB300R is listed in China in the form of imported cars, and the official retail guidance price is 42,000 yuan.

The European and Southeast Asian versions of the CB300R were first released in 2017 (cb300R is a model name that appeared in the Brazilian market in 2012), and the new 2022' CB300R European version follows most of the configuration of the first generation model and is believed to be a medium-term improvement.

The new car follows the original water-cooled four-stroke single-stroke, DOHC four-valve engine with a bore, stroke of 76 mm x 63 mm, an exhaust capacity of 286 cc, a maximum power output of 22.9 kw/9,000 rpm, and a maximum torque of 27.5 Nm/7,750 rpm. Compared with the 2021 model, the new car uses a new crankshaft sensor and a new muffler to meet the requirements of the Euro V emission standard, and the peak power output and torque are slightly higher than the 22.7 kw and 27.4 Nm of the 2021 model (the European version and the domestic version are also the same figures). In addition, the addition of a sliding clutch is also one of the main changes in the power unit.

In terms of body, the diamond-shaped frame with steel pipe mesh and the asymmetrical design of the left and right steel swingarms are used, and the appearance has not changed, following the family style of neo sports cafe, a new generation of sports coffee. The new 2022 CB300R, the big change is to replace the same specifications as the CB650R, the Showa SFF-BP (Separate Function Big Piston, split function, large piston, two forks each with different shock absorption functions) inverted fork, the addition of a digital instrument panel with gear display, a saddle made of new materials, etc.
