More than 100 well-known personalities and guests from all walks of life in the Liaoshen area, including Zhang Xingkui, chairman of the party leading group of the Liaoning Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles, members of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, director of the Seal Engraving Committee, vice chairman of the Seal Engraving Committee of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, and Honorary Chairman of the Liaoning Provincial Book Association, Hu Chongwei, vice chairman of the party group of the Liaoning Provincial Federation of Literary and Literary Circles and chairman of the Liaoning Provincial Calligraphy Association, attended the event.
At the opening ceremony, Wang Dan, vice chairman of the Chinese Calligraphers Association and honorary chairman of the Liaoning Calligraphers Association, and Gan Haimin, vice chairman of the Liaoning Calligraphers Association, presented awards to the winning representatives and gave high recognition and encouragement to the winners and the authors of the exhibition.
In the exhibition, Zhao Lixin, vice chairman of the Liaoning Calligraphers Association, deputy director of the Seal Engraving Committee and secretary general, said: The significance of this exhibition is to carry forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture and enhance the self-confidence of national culture, and at the same time, in order to welcome the 9th National Seal Engraving Art Exhibition to settle in Liaoning, prepare for the 9th National Seal Engraving Exhibition, discover new seal engraving talents, cultivate seal engraving talents, polish seal engraving fine products, and promote the liaoning seal engraving art industry to a new peak.
The exhibition is divided into three parts: invited works by famous artists, award-winning and award-winning nominated works, and works entered into the exhibition, and more than 300 printed screens show the magnificent and shocking artistic beauty in the open exhibition hall, so that the visitors are dazzled and stop and linger. From the preparation process of the entire exhibition, we learned that the holding of this exhibition has greatly encouraged the creative enthusiasm of seal engraving artists and the majority of seal engraving enthusiasts in Liaoning Province, and a total of 307 submitted works have been received. The exhibition constitutes a judging committee, with Wang Dan, vice chairman of the China Book Association, as the director of the jury, Hu Chongwei, Li Lin, Gan Haimin and Leng Xu as deputy directors, and Zhao Lixin as secretary general. The exhibition is composed of thirteen seal engraving masters from Liaoning Province, and after three rounds of strict evaluation, preliminary evaluation, re-evaluation and final evaluation, it is finally determined that 10 of them are award-winning works, 16 are award-winning nominated works, and 202 are entered works. In the art exhibition, new and old authors compete on the same stage, and the art of seal engraving is passed on. They are rooted in tradition, in the Qin and Han Dynasties, dare to explore, into the ancient and out of the new. The works are diverse in style, including Chinese seals, ancient seals, freehand writing, and stable work, which not only have traditional ancient meanings, but also have distinct style of the times, showing the profound cultural heritage of the seal engravers in our province and the creative consciousness of advancing with the times.
Chinese seal carving art is an important part of Chinese culture, with the continuous improvement of national cultural self-confidence, Chinese seal carving art has also received more and more attention and appreciation. We hope that the vast number of seal engravers and seal engravers in Liaoning will take this exhibition as an opportunity to continuously explore the laws of seal engraving art creation under the background of the great development and prosperity of Chinese culture, closely combine the life of the times with artistic creation, cherish the lofty ambitions, plant advantages, devote themselves to their ambitions, and write the new chapter of the times together with thick ink.
After the opening ceremony of the exhibition, the Provincial Book Association organized a group of famous calligraphers in Liaoshen area to write blessing characters and Spring Festival greetings for the citizens of Shencheng City at the art museum, sending gifts for the New Year and blessings for the Spring Festival.
