Early this morning, the official licensed commodity retail store located on the second floor of the main media center of the Beijing Winter Olympics was also officially opened to the public, and a variety of Winter Olympic-themed licensed goods were favored by many media staff, rights holders and staff.
It is understood that the main function of the official licensed commodity retail store is to serve the media reporters, rights holders and staff of various countries in the main media center, hoping that they will leave a good memory of the Beijing Winter Olympics by purchasing licensed goods. At the same time, the licensed retail store is also a window to promote China's excellent traditional culture, the characteristics of the host city and the culture of the Winter Olympic Games.
A total of 16 categories of licensed goods for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics have been developed, and 13 of them are currently listed in the store, mainly with badges, handmade, plush toys and other goods with obvious characteristics of the Winter Olympics, while selling goods that combine traditional Chinese culture and the cultural characteristics of the host city.
According to reports, the architectural pattern of the main media center of the Beijing Winter Olympics is two floors underground and five floors above ground. The area where the official licensed retail store is located is a media activity area.
