According to Japan's Kyodo News Agency, around 1:08 a.m. on January 22, earthquakes with the maximum magnitude of five (Japanese standards) occurred in Oita and Miyazaki prefectures in Japan. According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, the epicenter was in Hyuga Beach, the source depth was 45 kilometers, and the scale of the earthquake was 6.6 on the Richter scale.
