Recently, the official website of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region announced the list of representative inheritors of the sixth batch of representative projects of intangible cultural heritage at the autonomous region level, and after strict review procedures, 129 people were identified as included in the list of representative inheritors of the representative projects of intangible cultural heritage at the sixth batch of autonomous region level, of which 4 in Yuanzhou District were selected.
The notice pointed out that in order to improve the protection and inheritance system of intangible cultural heritage in our region, strengthen the construction of the intangible cultural heritage inheritance echelon, and develop and expand the protection and inheritance team. In accordance with the Law of the People's Republic of China on Intangible Cultural Heritage, the Regulations on the Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and the Interim Measures for the Protection and Administration of Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Autonomous Region organized the application and evaluation of the sixth batch of representative inheritors of intangible cultural heritage at the autonomous region level.
The circular requires that the representative inheritors of the representative projects of intangible cultural heritage at the autonomous region level are important bearers and transmitters of intangible cultural heritage in our region, who have mastered the rich knowledge and exquisite skills of intangible cultural heritage, and who are representative figures of the living inheritance of intangible cultural heritage in our region. All municipal, county (district) cultural and tourism bureaus and relevant units shall, in accordance with relevant regulations, support the representative inheritors of representative projects of intangible cultural heritage to carry out inheritance and dissemination activities, and all representative inheritors should actively perform their duties and obligations, and strive to promote the protection of intangible cultural heritage in the whole region to a new level.
