NASA/ Tom Cruise Space Film Update: Space Shooting Base established in 2024

British studio Space Entertainment Enterprise (SEE), co-founded by producers Elena and Dmitry Lesnevsky, reportedly signed a contract with Axiom to build the base, called SEE-1, which will be "the world's first space content and entertainment studio."

According to reports, the SEE-1 module is scheduled to be launched by Axiom in December 2024. Michael Suffredini, president and CEO of Axiom, said in a statement: "Adding a dedicated entertainment venue to Axiom Station's commercial capabilities in the form of SEE-1 will expand the station's role as a global user platform." ”

A SEE spokesperson said in an email to CNBC that the company is "working on a tom cruise movie that will be shot in space." Tom Cruise has yet to publicly comment on the space movie.

IT House has reported that NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine officially announced in May 2020 that Tom Cruise will work with NASA to shoot movies in space.
