The new crown pneumonia epidemic in Xi'an has touched the hearts of countless people, and in the days of control at home, I have always wanted to participate in volunteer service to make a contribution to society, and considering that the father of the child cannot go home after being on duty at the unit for a long time, if there is a problem of online class education and companionship for the child. After much thought, I followed my strongest wishes, took the initiative to contact the community, and became a volunteer. I believe that at the moment when the motherland needs it most, this is the duty of a party member cadre and a retired soldier.
I have worked in the military hospital for 20 years and have rich experience in nursing practice, so the community epidemic prevention and control team resolutely allowed me to enrich the medical team of the most urgently needed personnel and engage in nucleic acid sampling. On the first day of official employment, I received the task of conducting household nucleic acid sampling for special difficult groups and home isolation and control personnel in the community. At that time, the mood was really exciting and nervous, but on second thought, it was my honor to be able to join the medical team again after the transfer, and I was not afraid when I was facing the war, the ravages of disease, and the care of malaria and AIDS in the African peacekeeping, not to mention that I was now facing the new crown pneumonia epidemic in a fully armed situation. I was relieved to think of this. With the assistance of two staff members of the residential property, we successfully completed the sampling task.
Nucleic acid sampling is not only simple as collection, but more importantly, it is more important to strengthen infection control management and strictly prevent cross infection. Strict implementation of various control systems, strengthen hand hygiene and disinfection is an essential requirement, I insist on "one person, one disinfection" to ensure that nucleic acid sampling is safe and smooth and hygienic and controllable. Because nucleic acid testing is based on the overall situation of the city's epidemic prevention and control, in the next nucleic acid sampling, medical volunteers are in a state of "combat readiness" every day, waiting for the notice of nuclear inspection at any time, often starting to prepare materials at five or six o'clock in the morning, wearing protective clothing to prepare for work, and the daily collection volume reaches more than 2400 person-times.
Responsible for nucleic acid sampling in the No. 1 Courtyard of the Military Region is such a lovely group of "big whites". They are all medical volunteers from the community, mostly veterans, the oldest age is 69 years old, the youngest age is 35 years old, and the average age is about 52 years old. At the forefront of epidemic prevention and control, they have fulfilled their duties and responsibilities, worked hard and complained, and built an anti-epidemic firewall with the true colors of "changing careers without changing careers and retiring from retirement without fading", and with the spirit of "thousands of hardships and hardships, Ren'er's east, west, south, and north winds".
