After the election of the congress, Wu Cunrong, Zhang Ming, Liu Qiang, and Mo Gongming were elected as vice chairmen of the Standing Committee of the Fifth People's Congress of Chongqing Municipality.
Li Bubin, Yang Shuhai, Chen Jie, Chen Cheng, Huang Yulin, Huang Zonghua, Jiang Jianguo, and Jian Zexi were elected as members of the Standing Committee of the Fifth People's Congress of Chongqing Municipality.
