Chongqing, 21 Jan (China News Service) -- On the morning of 21 January, the Fifth Session of the Fifth People's Congress of Chongqing Municipality held its third plenary session.

After the election of the congress, Wu Cunrong, Zhang Ming, Liu Qiang, and Mo Gongming were elected as vice chairmen of the Standing Committee of the Fifth People's Congress of Chongqing Municipality.

Wu Cunrong, male, Han ethnicity, born in May 1963, graduate student, master of business administration, member of the Communist Party of China. He is currently an alternate member of the 19th Central Committee, deputy secretary of the Chongqing Municipal Party Committee, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, and president (dean) of the Party School of the Municipal Party Committee (Chongqing Administrative College).

Zhang Ming, male, Han ethnicity, born in June 1962, university, bachelor of history, member of the Communist Party of China. He is currently a member of the Standing Committee of the Chongqing Municipal Party Committee, the director of the Propaganda Department, the deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, and the chairman of the Municipal Federation of Social Sciences

Liu Qiang, male, Han ethnicity, born in December 1961, graduate student of the Party School, master of business administration for senior management, member of the Communist Party of China. He is currently a member of the Standing Committee of the Chongqing Municipal Party Committee, the secretary of the Political and Legal Committee, the deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, the director of the State Security Office of the Municipal Party Committee, the director of the Municipal Office of Governing the City according to Law, and the secretary of the Party Group and the president of the Municipal Law Society.
