On January 16, the Xiguan Police Station of the Tancheng County Public Security Bureau received a report from Ms. Wang, a resident of the district, saying that she had been defrauded of more than 30,000 yuan by netizens.

It was learned that on December 20, 2021, Ms. Wang registered an account on the marriage website, hoping to find her other half through the Internet. Not long after, a person who claimed to be Li talked to her, and Ms. Wang felt that she and Li were very chatty, so it was convenient for Li to add each other as QQ friends. Under the attack of Li Mou's rhetoric, Ms. Wang trusted him more and more.

After a week of happy chatting, Li sent Ms. Wang a website called "Dalian Commodity Exchange", saying that it was inconvenient for her to log in on a business trip in Macau, asked Ms. Wang to help log in to her account for online investment, and encouraged Ms. Wang to also participate.

At first, Ms. Wang tentatively transferred 10,000 yuan to this website to operate and earned 500 yuan. When the commission was withdrawn to the bank card, Ms. Wang, who was in her heart, recharged another 20,000 yuan, and the account showed that she had won money again, but it was not transferred back to her bank card. After contacting the "website customer service", I was told that I needed to continue to recharge 30,000 yuan to become a member of the website before I could get all the money back. Ms. Wang contacted Li after recharging 8,000 yuan herself, wanting Li to help pay the remaining money, but the other party has not replied, and Ms. Wang realized that she had been deceived.

In this case, Ms. Wang was defrauded of more than 38,000 yuan.
