Jacky Hunt-Broersma is a 46-year-old middle-aged woman from the United States who lost one leg at the age of 26 due to an amputation from cancer (Juve's sarcoma). She started running in 2016 and in just 5 years, she went from a novice who could only run 5 kilometers to a professional runner who could run an ultramarathon.

In 2020, Jacky broke the world record for the project by running 100 miles (about 160 kilometers) in 23 hours and 38 minutes on a treadmill, when she broadcast the process live on the Internet, and many netizens witnessed her moment of creating miracles.
On January 16, 2022, Jacky posted on her own social media that she would challenge a full marathon every day for 100 days totaling 2,620 miles (about 4,216 kilometers). As of January 20, she has completed 3 full marathons, and she will share her run publicly on social media every day.
