The conjunction since leads to clause usage parsing

Usage 1: Since the guided temporal adverbial clause uses the general past tense of the transient (terminating) verb, the main sentence is done with the present or when the present is completed. This usage is the most common. At this point, the entire sentence can be translated literally. That is, the time represented by the slave clause is calculated from the time when the predicate action of the slave clause occurs until the present.
