At the same time, Mr. Ma Man Kei also fully supported the Anti-Japanese Salvation Movement.
Through the connections of the French governor stationed in Guangzhou Bay (now Zhanjiang), he opened a Portuguese-French foreign firm, which was used exclusively for the transit of anti-Japanese materials and the transfer of materials to the interior. At the same time, It also opened Dafeng Bank to strengthen financial exchanges between Macao and the mainland. During this period, all the companies and trading houses under his name were dedicated to the transportation of anti-war materials.
In 1949, when Ye Jianying led his troops to liberate Guangxi and Hainan, materials were scarce, and Mr. Ma Manqi took the lead in helping to solve the material problem. Including food, hardware, gasoline and all other military supplies to help the People's Liberation Army tide over the difficulties.
Ma Man-kei's most praised deeds are the different "wedding of the century" between him and his wife.
In 1943, Ma Man Kei married his wife in Macau.
