Recently, the "Praise the Beauty of Labor • Building the Chinese Dream Together" Art Exhibition of Famous Artists of the Old and Welcoming the New Haipai was held in the exhibition hall on the first floor of the Workers' Cultural Palace in Jiading District, exhibiting a total of 106 wall calendar works by 57 well-known Haipai artists.
Haipai artists integrate artistic perceptions into their works. Some depict the magnificent mountains and rivers of the motherland, some reflect the happy life of the people, and there are many themes to welcome the new year, reflecting the strong taste of the New Year.
"Gao Zhan" is the work of Cai Yuxian, a painter at the Shanghai Academy of Calligraphy and Painting and a member of the Shanghai Artists Association. The 69-year-old Cai Yuxian has been painting tigers for more than 40 years and is known as "the first person to paint tigers in Shanghai". The majestic tiger in the painting stands on the top of the mountain and looks into the distance, majestic and righteous.
"Everything is As Expected" is the work of Ge Fuxing, a member of the Shanghai Artists Association. The muppet tiger in the painting has ears and tails that rise high and seem to move. Although the persimmons on the side are freehand, they are very attractive to look at, and there are teapots, chrysanthemums and cups filled with tea, which are all portraits of a happy and comfortable life.
