Skydiver and social media star Nicole Smith-Ludvik put on her Emirates uniform again last week and stood at the 2,722-foot (829.67 m) high Burj Khalifa spire in Dubai, filming commercials for Emirates and the Dubai World Expo as an A380 jet whizzed past her.

Nicole reportedly stood on the Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building, in an Emirates ad last year, causing widespread concern. Last week, she repeated the feat, but this time the stakes were higher.

Advertised, the world's largest airliner, the A380, roared past Nicole, the "flight attendant" standing at the spire, at an incredibly low speed.

This is Emirates' latest promotion, encouraging spectators to "fly in the iconic UAE A380 aircraft to see the world's greatest show". This refers to Expo 2020 Dubai, which will take place from 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022, where 192 countries will showcase a large number of cultural products and their most innovative technologies.

Shortly after the ad was released, the airline posted a second video on social media YouTube explaining how they could accomplish such a daring stunt.

The video explains that the plane was actually flying about half a mile from the tower, but due to some clever camera work, it looked very close to Nicole standing on the tower.

However, this still carries a great deal of risk. To capture the perfect shot, the Airbus was forced to make 11 consecutive flybys at a speed of only 145 knots (166 mph).

Such speeds are very slow for the Airbus A380, which typically cruises at nearly 600 mph and can reach 634 mph at full speed.

In August last year, Nicole stood at the tip of the Burj Khalifa to shoot commercials for Emirates and became famous.

In addition, pilots had to maintain the airliner at a paltry speed of 166 miles per hour, when it flew at an altitude of less than 3,000 feet. If anything goes wrong, the situation can quickly fall into chaos and lead to serious consequences.

Ms Smith Ludvik, from the ad production team, said on Instagram, "Without a doubt, it's one of the most surprising and exciting stunts I've ever done".

An Emirates spokesperson said the shooting at the top of the tower was real and facilitated by a number of local organisations. The spokesperson confirmed that a series of safety measures were taken during the filming of this impressive promotional video.

Nicole stood at the tip of the Burj Khalifa, holding a series of placards.

It is reported that Nicole became famous for appearing in the advertising stunt in August 2021. At the time, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) was included in britain's "amber travel list" and travel restrictions for travelers from the country were relaxed.

Nicole stood at the tip of the Burj Khalifa, holding a series of placards that read: "Move the UAE to the British Amber List... Let us feel... Standing on top of the world.... Fly to the UAE... Fly better. ”
