After the fire, the Taihe Gate became a ruin.
The fire before this great wedding was originally an unlucky sign in the eyes of the ancients.
In addition, there is a more important reason for the tragedy of Longyu!
According to the Great Qing Ceremony Law, when the empress was canonized, she had to enter through the Great Qing Gate, through the Taihe Gate.
But when they got married, if Xiao Xizi passed through the ruins of the Taihe Gate, it would be too much of a royal disgrace.
But the wedding date is getting closer and closer, and it is too late to rebuild the Taihe Gate.
So Cixi thought of a way, and she immediately made a decision: the wedding should still be held as usual, and the empress would still enter the palace according to the ancestral way to The Gate of Taihe!
But the Taihe gate is burned to ashes, what should I do?
Cixi made another clever move: she let the Zacai craftsmen rush to work day and night, and built a Taihemen cai tent in the fire field!
In the end, a Taihe Gate was really built to fake the real Taihe Gate, and even the palace people who often walked in the Taihe Gate could not see the real and false when they looked at it suddenly! What's that called!

But after Xiao Xizi really entered the palace, that is, after her marriage date with Guangxu passed, Longyu moved to the Zhong Pu Palace.

In 1908, Longyu was honored as the Empress Dowager, and her honorific title was "Longyu".

This time should be turned back to two years ago, that is, in 1911, when a major historical event broke out, the "Xinhai Revolution", Zaifeng resigned from the position of regent, and Longyu became the chairman of the entire Qing Dynasty.

On February 12, 1912, Puyi was forced to abdicate and the Qing Dynasty rule ended, but Longyu's heart was very guilty.
What made her sick was that she personally ordered the end of the Qing Dynasty, and what really crushed her was the incident that happened at her birthday party!
When Empress Longyu held a birthday party, most of the princes and ministers of the clan recused themselves and refused to enter the palace to celebrate.
