Langfang Museum's New Year Special Exhibition of the Zodiac Series "Golden Tiger New Year Happy Gate - Year of the Tiger Cultural Exhibition" is open to the public free of charge from now on in the second exhibition hall.
The zodiac is a wonderful idea, and each of us can find our own totem of life. The Zodiac is a unique common imagination of traditional Chinese culture, carrying the desire and ideal for unknown life, witnessing the dialectical thinking of the interaction between people and heaven and earth, and the ultimate goal of pursuing the harmony of all things.
The tiger, the king of a hundred beasts, has a formidable image of fierceness and might, and has an extraordinary symbolic significance in traditional Chinese culture. Its kingly style is used as a symbol of majesty and power. Tiger-shaped ornaments from the country's heavy equipment to ordinary supplies have been used, after thousands of years of development and evolution, a variety of tiger-shaped utensils, out of the wild, into the delicate humanistic care, less a mysterious, more intimate. The image of the tiger gradually moved from the altar to the world, from power to life. The exhibition is divided into five units, introducing the ancient tiger totem worship, tiger-related texts, literary works, idioms and tiger-related cultural relics.
Zodiac culture reflects the beautiful concept of "equality of all living beings" and "animism of all things", the zodiac series of exhibitions set the zodiac culture and the New Year culture in one, the exhibition content and form with "auspicious" throughout, I hope that the audience can understand the zodiac culture at the same time, but also be able to spend an auspicious and festive Spring Festival in the museum.
