On January 19, the Commutation and Parole Division of the Lvliang Intermediate People's Court made full use of information technology means to connect with Fenyang Prison through remote video to conduct a public trial of Yang Moumou's commutation case for crimes committed while performing official duties in accordance with the law, sounding the first gavel of the substantive trial of the Lvliang Intermediate People's Court's commutation and parole cases. The trial was presided over by Li Yanli, president of the Luliang Intermediate People's Court's Commutation and Parole Division, as the presiding judge, and the Lvliang Municipal People's Procuratorate sent personnel to perform their duties in court in accordance with the law and fully expressed their opinions. NPC deputies and CPPCC members were invited to attend the hearing.

Two co-offenders testified in court. Fenyang Prison presented evidence on the reform of convict Yang XX while serving his sentence, the procuratorial organs cross-examined the relevant evidence, and convict Yang XX stated his opinions on his own reform.
