On the afternoon of January 19, Jiangmen Kaiping City held a city-wide public security work conference to fully implement the spirit of the Central Political and Legal Work Conference, the National Public Security Department Directors' Meeting and the spirit of the 14th Municipal Party Congress, review and summarize the city's public security work in the previous year, commend the advanced, analyze and study the current situation and tasks, and make comprehensive arrangements for the city's public security work in 2022.
It is understood that in 2021, Kaiping Public Security received 4670 criminal security police reports, down 30.7% year-on-year; 1,031 criminal cases were detected, up 3.1% year-on-year; 511 cases of two robberies and one theft, down 22.46% year-on-year; 780 cases of telecommunications network fraud were reported, down 32.3% year-on-year; 201 cases of telecommunications network fraud were detected, up 28.03% year-on-year. A total of 63 individuals and 19 collectives were commended; the Kaiping Public Security Bureau was rated as an "advanced collective" by the Jiangmen City Leading Group for the Special Struggle against Organized Crime and Evil Forces, and the Criminal Investigation Brigade was rated as an "advanced collective" by the Provincial Public Security Department.
Yi Zhi said at the meeting that in the past year, under the strong leadership of the Kaiping Municipal CPC Committee and the Kaiping Municipal CPC Committee and the Jiangmen Municipal Public Security Bureau, the Kaiping Public Security Bureau has faithfully performed its duties, had the courage to take responsibility, and made positive contributions to the city's social harmony and stability. It is hoped that in 2022, Kaiping Public Security will conscientiously implement the spirit of the Central Political and Legal Work Conference and the spirit of the National Public Security Department Directors' Meeting, earnestly fulfill the major responsibility of maintaining national security, social stability and people's tranquility, and make greater contributions to building a new pattern of high-quality development of overseas Chinese in the new era.
At the meeting, Chen Yongqiang reviewed the public security work in Kaiping City in 2021, deeply analyzed the current situation and tasks, and deployed the work in 2022. He said that in 2022, Kaiping public security organs will always adhere to the guidance of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, take the strengthening of the party's political construction as the guide, take the prevention and resolution of major risks as the base point, closely focus on the city's work goal of building an "advanced manufacturing strong city, a famous cultural tourism city, and a landscape ecological homeland", go all out, faithfully perform their duties, move forward courageously, strive to promote a higher level of safe kaiping construction, and create a safe and stable political and social environment for the city's high-quality development.
