Professional grade first, what is her secret?

See plain embrace simplicity, unity of knowledge and action

In the persistence and love of the steady and far-reaching

She loves the acornical theory in psychology – that everyone has a unique seed within themselves, and if you can listen to this call of life and take root in it, you can grow into the towering tree you should have grown into. She describes herself with persistence and love, faces difficult problems, and fights steadily in learning and achieves excellent results. She is humble and serious, and even bluntly says on camera that she has achieved excellent academic results by "stupid methods". Social practice, volunteer service, school history museum explanation, academic exploration, student congresses, and various activities can see her figure, and she seems to have endless enthusiasm. When it comes to "the blood connection between people and culture", her eyes burst with light, and under the influence of her mentor, she began to pursue "the dialogue between tradition and modernity".

In the face of the interview, she always has a smile on her face and a sunny and confident breath on her body. She was sincere, she was passionate. She is Sun Chenyue from the Department of Chinese Chinese And Literature, she sees simplicity, knowledge and action are one, and she is steady and far-reaching in persistence and love.

He is a preparatory member of the Communist Party of China and a 2019 undergraduate student majoring in Chinese language and literature. Winner of Baosteel Outstanding Student Scholarship and National Scholarship. In the academic year, he ranked first in the major, and his collaborative English translation works were published in the journal of Chinese, and now he is carrying out the "Xiyuan Project" undergraduate academic research project. Actively participate in online volunteer teaching, letter exchange and other practices and volunteer activities, and record audio for the "Cloud School History Museum" on the occasion of Fudan's 115th anniversary.

I think one is more optimistic, that is, when encountering difficulties and those unknown things, I am more willing to use a positive attitude to deal with, and then challenge. The second is that I am more willing to insist, because I have always felt that I am not a particularly talented person, so I especially believe that the stupid bird flies first and the heavenly path is rewarded, so I am more willing to invest more and accumulate more, and then insist more, and constantly hone myself.

First of all, I feel ashamed, although my grades have improved from my freshman to sophomore year, but for me, I am only in my junior year and my future studies have just begun, so I feel that it is a long process to maintain excellence and need to put more effort into it.

If there is anything to share, I think the first thing is that in the direction you want to study, you are not afraid to choose a difficult course, especially many times we will worry that these difficult courses may not get an A, but in fact, I think it is in these courses that you will really exercise your learning ability, to strengthen your knowledge system, and ultimately reflect in your entire knowledge mastery.

The second word I think is still insistent, because in the process of learning difficult courses, whether you read or recite, or do some small research, you have to collect information, and then comb through, and then carry out a lot of self-reflection, and finally form a point of view, this process must be willing to invest.

For example, last semester, I chose two intensive reading courses at the same time, one is the professional elective course "Intensive Reading of Western Literary Masterpieces" opened by Zhang Yanping of the Department of Chinese, focusing on Shakespeare's works, and the other is the core course of General Studies "Introduction to Homer's Epics" opened by Zhang Wei of the Department of History. Both courses are very hardcore, and you need to read some English research literature in addition to perusing the text, but I think that in this process, I can greatly improve my text analysis ability and have a more comprehensive understanding of the Western civilization tradition. Therefore, I think that such a comprehensive learning experience can play a great role in improving learning ability.

In terms of balancing learning and other activities, I am also in the process of constantly trying. After some experimentation, I think there are two points that are more important, one is to make a good plan. For example, plan your weekly and monthly progress, whether it's to submit a paper or hold an event. In a multi-task scenario, we can plan between different tasks. When we have completed a task, while waiting for a reply, we can start working on another task. In addition to this "technical" planning, the second thing I think is the need to self-reflect on my own stressors. Receiving an unanticipated task may feel like it's a "cauldron from heaven," but it's most likely not because of a "heavenly descent, but because we're not prepared ourselves.

Therefore, I think it is still necessary to reflect on whether you have handled your daily tasks in place, whether it is the review progress of the course, or the collation of work materials, etc., and strive to achieve calm and efficient response.

I actually like the term "public participation" because it expands some of our understanding of student work.

I joined the Ren Chung College Self-Management Committee during my freshman year, first working in the editorial board of Ren Xing, and then in May I was elected as a member of the presidium of the Ren Chung College Self-Management Committee. This experience for me is very precious, because Renzhong College has a very strong academic atmosphere, so we will do a lot of activities to promote teacher-student exchanges, students' academic achievements display, academic development, etc. In this process, on the one hand, I feel that I can learn the results of these ideological collisions very closely, on the other hand, I can also understand what kind of requirements our students have for academic ability improvement and what kind of communication platform I hope the college will provide. I feel that these experiences have promoted my integration of learning and practice, and I have brought a lot of gains.

I was elected as a permanent delegate to the 48th Student Congress and took on the scrutiny at the 49th Student Congress. I was deeply touched on the day of the ticket monitoring, because everyone was dressed in formal clothes, in such a very solemn atmosphere as Xianghui Hall. I think that wearing formal clothes to attend such an event is not a feeling that you have grown up and are very handsome, but you need to take on this responsibility and become a bridge of communication. So I think this kind of public participation will remind myself of what I was thinking when I chose to take on these student jobs. Don't get lost in a suit and shoes, think about your responsibilities.

In fact, this sentence is related to my Xiyuan project, I carried out the Xiyuan Project under the guidance of Liang Yanli, a teacher of the Department of Chinese, entitled "The Jiangnan Narrative of Ge Liang's Novel".

Ge Liang was born in Nanjing, a descendant of Mr. Chen Duxiu, and his grandfather was also a very famous art historian, Mr. Ge Kangyu. He later went to Hong Kong to study, where he began to create. For the writer, both in terms of his own family experience and his later upbringing, he has always been in a dialogue between tradition and modernity, culture and individuality. For example, he has a long novel called "Suzaku", in which he creates the image of a young Chinese who comes to his hometown of Nanjing to re-understand the historical origins of Nanjing. The cultural experiences he was confronted with were both ancient and foreign to him, and he had to re-embrace them, then incorporate them into his own life and chew them, and finally find out what kind of emotional connection he could make with the cultures that had passed.

So it was in this process that I thought about the blood connection between people and culture. I think this blood connection can be reflected in how modern people understand the spiritual temperament of our predecessors in the long history of our predecessors, and the aesthetic spirit and self-pursuit that our predecessors have shown. I also have some confusion when I do the project, I find that modern people are very sad and stressed about the dilemma of their current life, but in fact, does it mean that we are too limited to the present and infinitely enlarge our own predicament? If we go back to history and look at it, the ancients also faced many tribulations, but they also showed a lot of admirable spirit in the struggle. If we can reintegrate that cultural spirit into the present, is it possible to establish a blood connection between people and cultures?

I participated in the online volunteer teaching activity of "Counting The Sun and the Moon, Dreaming of the Sea of Clouds" organized by the School of Mathematical Sciences. There was a bit of an accident that day because my computer malfunctioned and there was no way to turn on the video camera. I could have demonstrated guqin performance with you, because the course design was "Guangling San- In Search of the Generous Spirit That Is Constantly Enriched.". So I told everyone whether to try to use the edge of the table as a guqin, and then use my fingers (A) to feel the erasure and pick of the guqin. The students later reported that this feeling was magical, because they may have read about how Ji Kang interpreted "Guangling San" in "The New Language of the World", but in fact, when your fingers touch the edge of the table (guqin), the intensity of the playing is completely an externalization of the power of the mind, and even the feeling of collision, friction, and pain is closely integrated with your heart. Such an attempt will give everyone an intuitive and intimate experience, which is actually a blood connection between people and culture.

The translation project is the result of participating in the "Wonderland Translation Workshop" academic training camp of Renzhong College. Under the guidance of Professor Wang Baihua of the Department of Chinese, our group, led by team leader Wu Qi, translated Harvard Professor Lawrence Boyle's article "Can Environmental Imagination Save the World?" Later, he was recommended by his teacher and published in the journal Chinese. When I read this article, I thought it was amazing, because when the author talked about environmental protection, he did not start from what kind of means we wanted to take, but said that we should first return to a reshaping of cultural values. He shows us that our previous attitude toward natural resources was: for the sake of human progress, so I am going to develop it. But in fact we should go back to history to see what kind of resources nature has provided us, and on the spiritual level, nature has given us hope for how to live. He shows us how man can live in harmony with the outside world and achieve spiritual prosperity. I think this work has suddenly opened my horizons, in the process of reshaping this cultural value, we can better understand the relationship between ourselves and the living environment, and people's cultural memory of the environment. So I think the whole translation process is not only me and English in conversation, I am also exposed to a new kind of thinking, which can make me have some new understanding of ecology, environmental protection, and human existence.

I want to start with "Qingyun Song". "Qingyun Song" sings: "Qingyun is rotten, and Qingyun is dirty." Sun and moonlight, Dan Fudan Xi. "In September last year, SMG was filming a documentary called "Humanistic Walking: A Century-Old University", and they came to Fudan and came to the school history museum. In the process of explaining to these audiences, some viewers asked me, in your opinion, what is one of the most prominent spiritual qualities of Fudan? I thought of "Qing YunGe", so I said, I think that in the long history of the school for a hundred years, Fudan has always resonated with China's historical changes, and Fudan people have always had a passion and perseverance to participate in historical changes and promote China's social development. I think this is the most prominent spiritual trait, and it can always inspire each generation of Fudan people.
