The inaugural meeting Chinese of the NJCTA (New Jersey Chinese Teachers Association) of the New Jersey Teachers Association was held on January 15, 2022, at Zoom. Chinese teachers from various schools in New Jersey, Chinese teachers from some foreign states, as well as Lin Jiehui, President of the Chinese Federation of New Jersey, Kong Xurong, Professor of Kean University, Linda Li, Chinese Principal of YCIS Shanghai School for Expatriates, and Shi Jingwei, Chairman of the Edison School District Education Committee, attended the event. At the meeting, Lin Jiehui was hired as the honorary president of the society, and Zhang Shihong, Liao Shanman and Hu Linlin were elected as the first president and vice president respectively.

The meeting was presided over by Teacher Hu Linlin. Today, she said, we have a group of our own, a place where our hearts can be stored. One person can walk fast, and everyone can go far together. The sensational opening touched everyone. Teacher Liao Shanman introduced the purpose, mission and purpose of the establishment of the Society. She noted that the NJCTA of the NJCTA, a teachers' association in Chinese, New Jersey, is a nonprofit organization established specifically for philanthropy, education, and cultural exchange. The mission of the New Jersey Chinese Teachers' Association is to promote the learning, teaching, research and exchange of Chinese languages and cultures at all levels and in various educational institutions in New Jersey, to provide a platform for new Jersey Chinese teachers to exchange teaching experiences, share teaching practices and share relevant information, and to provide teachers with opportunities and resources for professional development.

In her inaugural speech, Teacher Zhang Shihong pointed out that Chinese is a small language in foreign language courses in American schools. Many schools have Chinese teachers to take courses in multiple grades by themselves, and some schools even have only one Chinese teacher, and the intensity of work can be imagined. Back home, I don't want to talk, I don't want to eat, I don't dare to get sick. Sometimes you have to compile your own teaching materials, buy prizes for students at your own expense, and make activity props. What is even more poignant is that the epidemic is raging, students and teachers are already exhausted and miserable, and there are even some people who unjustifiably launch hatred against Asians, distort Chinese culture, resist Chinese teaching, and some schools even shut down some Chinese programs, and individual teachers are unemployed.

In the narration of the founding path, she said emotionally, "Who is our mother's family, so that we can turn around and ask for help?" Who are our mothers and family, so that we can turn around and complain? Who are our mothers and family, even if it only gives us a hug or a smiley face? All this has strengthened her confidence in founding the Chinese Teachers' Society with Liao Shanman, Hu Linlin and other peers. President Zhang thanked the teachers for their strong support, Ms. Lin Jiehui, Microsoft Corporate Trainer Zhang Zhenling, President of Rainbow Bridge Company Ms. Ye Jing, President of IPERC Foundation Han Jingnu, Singapore Easy Chinese Editor-in-Chief of the U.S. Department Yang Lizhen and other donors.

Ms. Xu Yijing, Accounting of the Society, Ms. Wu Huijuan, Secretary of the Society, Ms. You Deping, Head of The Society's Teacher Training, Ms. Bian Fang, Head of the Society's Student Activities, and Ms. Zhang Zhenling, Head of the Outreach and Public Relations Department of the Society, respectively introduced to the participating teachers how to apply for membership in the Society and the general financial situation of the Society, the website of the Society, the opportunities and activities for teacher training in Chinese, the support and funding projects of the Society for the Chinese of New Jersey teaching student activities, and the Society's liaison with community Chinese schools and other Chinese cultural activity organizations. Support and funding, etc.

Mr. Hu Linlin welcomes teachers in New Jersey who are engaged in Chinese teaching and education to join the society, whether in public schools, independent institutions, individuals engaged in Chinese teaching, or engaged in an educational institution, regardless of age, gender, ethnic beliefs.
