Beijing News (reporter Teng Chao) On January 19, Beijing time, the 72nd Berlin Film Festival announced the shortlist of the main competition unit, and there were 18 shortlisted films this time. New films by François Oujon, Claire Denis, Hong Changxiu, Paul Taviani, Denis Corte, Ulyssie Saidel, Penrid and other famous directors have all been shortlisted. In addition, the domestic film "Hidden in the Dust" directed by Li Ruijun and starring Wu Renlin and Haiqing was shortlisted, which is also the first time that a mainland film has been shortlisted for the main competition of the three major European film festivals after 2019. The film tells the story of two lonely individuals abandoned by their respective families in the northwest countryside, and they marry each other. Haiqing and the actor Wu Renlin partnered to create a low-level peasant woman in the northwest who has experienced many vicissitudes. At present, the film has been officially announced to be released nationwide on February 25.
