Changsha, 19 Jan (Xinhua) -- On 19 January, the Fifth Session of the Twelfth CPPCC National Committee of Hunan Province held its second plenary session. The meeting elected Wu Lan and Huang Lanxiang by secret ballot as vice chairmen of the 12th Hunan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
According to the official curriculum vitae, Wulan, female, Mongolian, born in November 1962, graduated from the Central Party School, a member of the Communist Party of China, is an alternate member of the 19th Central Committee and a member of the 10th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
Wulan has served in Inner Mongolia for a long time, serving as deputy secretary of the Ordos Municipal Party Committee, deputy secretary and head of the Bayannaoer League Committee, vice chairman of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Government, member of the Standing Committee of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Party Committee, and director of the Propaganda Department. In October 2016, she was transferred to the deputy secretary of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee. He is currently the deputy secretary and vice chairman of the CPPCC party group of Hunan Province.
Huang Lanxiang, female, Han ethnicity, born in February 1962, central party school graduate degree, cpc member, has long worked in Zhuzhou, Hunan, Yueyang and other cities.
In January 2007, Huang Lanxiang was elected deputy secretary and mayor of Yueyang Municipal Party Committee, and was promoted to secretary of Yueyang Municipal Party Committee in December 2011. Later, he served as vice governor of the Hunan Provincial People's Government, member of the Standing Committee of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee, and director of the United Front Work Department. He is currently the deputy secretary and vice chairman of the CPPCC party group of Hunan Province. (End)
