The "Resolution of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on the Major Achievements and Historical Experiences of the Party's Century-Long Struggle" adopted by the Sixth Plenary Session of the Nineteenth Central Committee of the Communist Party of China summarizes "persisting in self-revolution" as one of the ten historical experiences of the Party's century-long struggle. The greatness of our party does not lie in not making mistakes, but in daring to face problems head-on, to have the courage to carry out self-revolution, to constantly eliminate all factors that undermine the party's advanced nature and purity, to constantly eliminate all viruses that erode the healthy body of the party, to ensure that the party does not degenerate, not change color, and does not change taste, and to ensure that the party always becomes a strong core of leadership in the historical process of the century-long struggle of revolution, construction, and reform.

Since the Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the complexity and severity of the situation and environment, the heavy and arduous nature of shouldering tasks are rare in the world and rare in history. The Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core has led the whole party and the people of all ethnic groups in the country to seize the opportunity, overcome difficulties, solve many difficult problems that have long been wanted to be solved but have not been solved, and accomplish many major things that have been wanted to be done in the past but have not been accomplished. With the passage of time and the change of years, the environmental situation of our party's self-revolution and self-purification has become not simple, but more complex and severe, and the requirements of the tasks have become not easy, but more arduous and arduous, and the responsibilities have become more heavy.

Opportunities and challenges coexist, and glory and tests go hand in hand, which is the objective logic of historical development, which has been the same since ancient times and is even more so today.
