author:Anqing.com

On January 13, at a holiday youth activity held in Sanlian Street, Hefei City, primary school students from the jurisdiction watched and studied Wu Shanming, the inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage of Anhui Province, making a theme painting of the Year of the Tiger on the spot. With "iron" as the pen and "fire" as the ink, where the fire pen strokes pass, the three-dimensional tiger head is vivid, allowing students to feel the charm of the fire pen and the fun of folklore.

It is understood that fire brush painting, also known as branding painting, hot painting, that is, using a hot soldering iron to iron out the burning marks on the object for painting, is a precious folk rare painting. Anhui Fire Brush Painting is a kind of folk arts and crafts that are widely spread in jianghuai and have a great mass base, and is one of the treasures in Chinese folk arts and crafts, and is listed in the national intangible cultural heritage list.

Wu Shanming, a provincial non-hereditary person, has loved art since childhood, and in 1967, he studied fire pen with The Master of Chinese Arts and Crafts Liu Zhuhua and has been engaged in brand painting ever since. After years of continuous efforts, we have tried to explore the art of branding on various materials such as plates, rice paper, silk surfaces, bamboo, gourds, etc., and constantly innovated, especially in the development of new products on practical utensils such as decorative gift boxes and jewelry boxes. His representative works mainly include "Eight Immortals Drunk", "Majestic Wind", "Birds and Flowers", "Lotus Pond Moonlight", "Huangshan Cloud Sea", etc., and have won many awards in various competitions.

According to the relevant person in charge of the street, in order to enrich the holiday life of young people, a series of activities such as understanding folk culture and recalling the classics of traditional Chinese studies will be carried out in various communities, so that students can experience and feel the unique charm of intangible cultural heritage at close range, stimulate young people's love for traditional culture, and improve the awareness of the younger generation to protect and inherit intangible cultural heritage.
